What if there is an accident such as a slip/fall, or vehicle accident that I think has been caused by ice
Follow your own company health and safety procedures in tending to any injured party, as appropriate.
If you can, restrict access to the area that you may feel unsafe. Record the details of all parties involved in the incident. Take photos and witness statements.
Contact us as soon as possible when there has been any ice related incident.
If you act at the time of the incident and notify us, we will arrange a site visit to investigate and provide additional service as needed. On arrival, we will work with you to complete the process ensuring that the site is in a safe condition and that all information has been recorded accurately. We will provide details of the service schedule for your site and confirm the service that has been delivered. We advise you to notify your insurers and we will also notify our insurers and make all relevant information available.
Should an injured party raise a claim as a result of the incident, we must both advise our insurers at the time. We accept complete responsibility for our service; any claim made against us for any alleged failure in that service will be addressed by our insurers. We will keep you informed of any developments.
